USB Driver Installation Guide:

1. It is recommended that you print these instructions before beginning the USB connection and driver installation process.

2. You should already have installed the SyncCell software. If you have not already done so, please see the following link for step-by-step instructions.

 How to install SyncCell...

3. Once you have the SyncCell software installed, you are ready to begin the USB cable installation and configuration. (If you have not already installed SyncCell, please see step #2 above.)

Our first step is to connect the phone to the computer via the USB cable. USB cables have both an 'A' connector and a 'B' connector.

All USB connectors and ports are marked with the following icon:

The 'A' cable connector will plug into the USB port on your computer and the 'B' cable connector will plug into the USB port on your phone:

Locate the USB 'A' port on your computer. Ports are usually located on the backside of the PC and sometimes on the front panel. Refer to your PC documentation if needed.

Once you've located the USB 'A' port on your computer, carefully plug the USB 'A' cable connector into the port. The USB icon on the connector should be the same way up as the icon marking the port.

Next, locate the USB 'B' port on your phone. Refer to your phone's documentation if needed.

Once you've located the USB 'B' port on your phone, carefully plug the USB 'B' connector into the port.

4. After your phone is connected to your PC, Windows will detect the new connection and automatically start the Found New Hardware Wizard:

Select the 'Yes, this time only' option to allow Windows to search for the driver software and then select 'Next'.

5. The Wizard will then prompt you to install the USB driver software:

Select the recommended default of installing the software automatically and then select 'Next' to continue.
(If the driver is not automatically found after clicking "Next", then return to the above screen and manually locate the driver at "C:\Program Files\SyncCell\drivers\WinXP_Vista\scusbXP.inf".

6. At this point in the install you may see the following Windows warning:

This warning appears because BIDCOM Technologies has not certified its product drivers in Microsoft's voluntary logo testing program. BIDCOM Technologies has a rigorous quality assurance program and all of its products are tested above and beyond the requirements of any Microsoft (or similar) test programs. Click 'Continue Anyway' to proceed.

The Hardware Wizard will complete:

Click 'Finish' to close the wizard.

7. Locate and double-click the SyncCell icon on your desktop. The SyncCell software will automatically connect to your mobile phone device.

8. Once the phone and software are connected you will be prompted for an activation code:

If you wish to use SyncCell free for the 14-day evaluation period, select 'Remind Me Later' and continue on. Thank you for trying our software. We know you'll be very pleased with SyncCell's rich features and ease of use.

If you have purchased SyncCell, enter your CD activation key and select 'Activate Now'. You can find your CD activation key on your purchase invoice and/or your confirmation email. Thank you for buying SyncCell software!

9. Start using SyncCell!
